3M Scotchlock™ Self-Stripping Electrical Connectors
The 3M series of electrical insulation displacement connectors have been designed as an easy to use connector that can be connected in four possible styles, inline, tap, double run or pigtail. They also provide insulation for the connection and they feature a deformable wire stop, inner channel. instilllation is quick and simple and can be completed in four easy steps. Please turn off all power before installling or removing terminals. All electrical work should be done according to appropriate electrical codes. 1. Place unstripped run wire inside appropriate channels. 2. On tap, inline, and pigtail applications ends of wires should always be placed midway between connector element and end of connector for proper installlation. 3. Hold tool perpendicular to the wires and make the connection by driving the u-contact down flush with the top of the plastic insulator body. 4. Close hinged top cover until latched
