D230-002產(chǎn)品概述
Thermal cutoffs provide low-cost protection against hazardous over-heating by interrupting an electrical circuit when operating temperatures exceed the rated temperature of the cutoff. Thermal cutoffs are nonresetting, thermally sensitive devices designed to protect domestic electrical appliances and industrial equipment from fire. They are sometimes described as thermal one-shot fuses. When ambient temperature increased to an abnormal level, the thermal cutoff senses temperature change and breaks the electrical circuit.
The electrical resistance of a D-Series thermal cut-off is comparable to that of an equal length of 18-gauge solid copper wire. With proper air flow, heat generation below 15 Amperes is minimal. Above 25 Amperes, the upper limit on current capacity will depend on the environment for each specific application.
Controlled series resistance measurements are made across a total lead span of 1.0" on all production units. Using this procedure, typical resistance value is 0.8 Milliohms.
Note: Consult the manufacturer when encapsulation or use of cleaning solvents is being considered. These operations may damage the TCO (Thermal Link).
