The new tamper resistant, non-contact safety interlock switch and a control unit features a NEMA 6 encapsulated design allowing it to meet the needs of most applications. The CM-S4 control unit provides external device monitoring (also referred to as MPCE monitoring) and has an automatic reset button, which allows the control unit to replace a safety relay in most applications. The control unit also features removable terminal blocks for simplified wiring and installation. The CM Series switch and actuator comes in three shapes and sizes to accommodate a variety of application requirements. The system has a misalignment tolerance of 5 and 9 mm to reduce nuisance tripping.
