TE Connectivity AMPLIVAR Open Barrel Splices
AMPLIVAR open barrel splices designed to terminate aluminum magnet wire to itself or in combination with solid standard or stranded lead wire using pigtail splicing. The serrated barrel design of these AMPLIVAR open barrel splices automatically ring strip the insulation from the magnet wire resulting in an effective metal-to-metal compression crimp with a high tensile strength and improved electrical conductivity. These AMPLIVAR open barrel splices can be used to terminate up to 3 magnet wires simultaneously. Copper or aluminum magnet wire or a combination of both can also be terminated using these AMPLIVAR open barrel splices. If required copper or aluminum magnet wire can be combined with pre-stripped standard solid or stranded lead wires.
