TE Connectivity SolderTact Shielded MIL-C-38999 Shielded Contacts
SolderTact shielded one piece solder contacts for use with MIL-C-38999 series I, II, III and IV circular connectors. These SolderTact one-piece pin and socket contacts are designed for terminating coaxial cables and have prefluxed solder preforms to aid controlled soldering, inspection windows and transparent insulation so terminations can be checked. Once these SolderTact solder contacts are terminated they can be inserted into connector cavities using standard insertion and extraction tools and are replaceable without cutting and restripping or shortening the cable. Typical applications for these MIL-C-38999 SolderTact shielded one piece solder contacts are military, commercial, aerospace, instrumentation and computers and are intermateable and intermountable with contacts qualified to the indicated specification.
